Straightforward fees. No surprises.
John believes clients should understand the rate, scope, and likely time commitment before advocacy work begins.
Professional advocacy
$200 per hour
Standard professional, hospital, bedside, record-review, and travel time is billed in 30-minute increments.
Concierge / Priority Access: $500 per hour. This rate also applies to evening, weekend, holiday, urgent, or substantially expanded access.
Initial consultation
Four hours, $800 total, paid in advance.
- The required four-hour initial consultation is prepaid before it occurs; there is no separate retainer or deposit.
- Travel time is billed at $200 per hour.
- No mileage is charged within 10 miles each way. Beyond that, mileage is billed at the then-current IRS standard business mileage rate.
- Invoices are issued every seven days and payment is due electronically upon receipt.
- Accepted methods are debit card, credit card, and electronic check/ACH.
Routine printing and postage are not separately charged within typical services. Unusual or significant third-party expenses are discussed and approved in advance.

The services agreement and client handbook contain the written cancellation policy. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when possible; reasonable accommodation is made for unexpected medical conditions or emergencies.
