A distinctive focus

Infectious Disease Advocacy

Independent support for patients and families navigating MRSA, other serious infections, hospital care, specialty appointments, and complicated transitions.

Experience that informs the work

John understands how consuming a serious infection can become.

John contracted MRSA in a hospital following a skin-graft procedure. Over approximately seven years, the infection recurred 17 times and led to 213 total days hospitalized. He brings that lived perspective to hospital-acquired and recurrent infection advocacy while respecting the distinct role of each medical professional.

John’s role is not to diagnose, recommend or select treatment or antibiotics, interpret tests or labs clinically, determine malpractice, or provide legal advice. He helps you stay organized, prepare useful questions, communicate concerns, and keep agreed next steps visible.

Nonclinical advocacy

Medical decisions stay with you and your licensed healthcare providers.

DJB Advocacy LLC does not practice medicine, diagnose medical conditions, prescribe treatment, provide medical or clinical advice, or guarantee medical, insurance, financial, or legal outcomes. Advocacy does not replace physicians, nurses, case managers, attorneys, or other licensed professionals; medical decisions remain between the client and licensed healthcare providers.
